A Web Analyst’s dream already happened about a year ago when Quantcast published the top 1 million websites. Here’s the download (9.6MB). Quantcast also offered the top 1k, top 2k, top 5k, top 10k…, while Alexa charged a whopping $2500 for pretty much the same data.
Today I saw over a Randolph’s blog, that Alexa just opened up their database and offered the Alexa top million websites for free. You can download the file here
