Freakonomics

Last night I finished the best seller “Freaknomics - a rouge economist explores the hidden side of everything” by Steven D. Levitt and Stephen J. Dubner. The book is written about 2 years ago and is most probably not on the bestseller list anymore.

Still Freakonomics is one of the best books, that I’ve read so far. I usually don’t recommend books and it is probably pretty lame to promote a bestseller, but Freakonomics is just well written. The book just reminded me of my criminology professor back in the day. This professor taught me how stats are often interpreted wrong (e.g. the crime rate of immigrants  or the overall crime rate are the most misinterpreted data that is out there).

So any person, who doesn’t believe in all the BS, that is out there, cannot miss reading this book. Check it out:
